Welcome on board! At the Houseboat Museum, you get the chance to experience first-hand what it's like to live in a houseboat on an Amsterdam canal. The museum is located in the "Hendrika Maria", a former cargo ship built in 1914. The cargo hold is now a cosy living space featuring all the conveniences and a surprising amount of space and comfort.

Locatie. Het boothuis is goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer. Vanaf het Centraal Station neem je de pont 'Buiksloterweg' naar de overkant. Volg de weg en na een flauwe bocht naar links zie je café ONS, daar rechtsaf. Het boothuis is in de tuin van de laatste woonboot aan je rechterhand. Het is ongeveer 5 minuten lopen.
